Reviews and Ratings
My experience at Mowana Spa was unfortunately disappointing. While the communication and service were lacking, my time at the Home away from Home hotel was wonderful. The spacious rooms were clean and well maintained, the staff were helpful, and I loved the dining options. However, the location felt a bit remote, making it challenging to access attractions easily.
My recent stay at the hotel was quite a mixed bag. On one hand, I found the room to be clean and the service from the staff was really commendable; they were helpful and eager to assist. However, the room had several maintenance issues which overshadowed the positives. Additionally, the dining options were decent but didn't exactly impress. Overall, while there were some redeeming qualities, the hotel could use significant improvements to enhance the guest experience.
My visit to Indaba was a mixed bag. On the downside, I faced a disappointing check-in experience as my room wasn't ready on time, and when I finally got to my room, it had an unpleasant odor. On the brighter side, the staff was quite friendly and welcoming, which made my stay more bearable. The amenities were decent, but the noise from large groups during dining hours could get overwhelming. Overall, while I appreciated some aspects of my stay, there are definitely areas that need improvement.
The hotel has beautiful gardens and a diverse food selection, making it a great spot for gatherings and celebrations. However, the service was lacking, with disorganized staff and dated rooms that need significant improvement. Overall, I had a hard time enjoying my stay due to the inadequate service, despite the lovely surroundings.
My stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable, especially for the New Year's party we attended. The complimentary bottle of bubbly and chocolates in our room were a lovely touch, making it feel special. However, my experience was a bit marred by the noisy rooftop cafe nearby and a less-than-ideal room on the ground floor. Overall, it has a great atmosphere but could improve on the room comfort and sound insulation.
